Drug intelligence / Profile preview
hu3S193 is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets the Lewis Y (LeY) carbohydrate antigen, which is overexpressed on the surface of many epithelial tumors, including ovarian, breast, colorectal, and non-small cell lung cancers. The drug exerts its antitumor effects through strong complement-dependent cytotoxicity and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. It has also been developed as a radioimmunoconjugate by labeling with isotopes such as Indium-111 or Yttrium-90 for targeted radioimmunotherapy. Preclinical and clinical studies have shown selective tumor targeting, long serum half-life, and favorable safety profile in patients with LeY-expressing cancers[2][4][5][7].
