Overview
Huage granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Henan Cancer Hospital. It is designed based on the therapeutic principle of 'benefiting qi and resolving blood stasis' (Yi Qi Hua Yu) to address the underlying pathology of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) in the postoperative phase. The drug is intended to prevent tumor recurrence and metastasis by modulating the body's internal environment and potentially inhibiting residual cancer cell activity. It is currently being evaluated in multicenter randomized controlled clinical trials to establish high-level evidence for its efficacy and safety in the rehabilitation of esophageal cancer patients.
