Huaju Penyan Granules

Huaju Penyan Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed and manufactured by Guizhou Weimen Pharmaceutical for the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease (CPID). The product is specifically indicated for patients presenting with the TCM syndrome of damp-heat stasis, which manifests as persistent lower abdominal pain, lumbosacral soreness, and abnormal vaginal discharge. The formulation is composed of several botanical extracts, including *Gynostemma pentaphyllum*, *Sargentodoxa cuneata*, *Patrinia villosa*, *Citrus reticulata* (seed), *Cyperus rotundus*, *Corydalis yanhusuo*, and *Paeonia lactiflora* (red peony root). Pharmacologically, the granules exert anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and immunomodulatory effects. They work by reducing the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines and improving local pelvic microcirculation, thereby alleviating chronic inflammation and preventing the formation of pelvic adhesions.
