Huang-long zhi-xiao granule is a traditional Chinese patent medicine formulation primarily used for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children. It is also known as Xiaoer Huanglong Granule and HL Granule. The formula consists of multiple herbal ingredients and is widely used in China for pediatric ADHD management, with clinical studies suggesting an effective rate above 80%[1][2][5]. Some related formulations under the "Huanglong" name are also studied for respiratory diseases such as acute asthma, where they have demonstrated anti-inflammatory effects and modulation of lipid metabolism pathways[3][4].
