Huangqi Gegen Decoction Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation composed of *Astragalus membranaceus* (Huangqi) and *Pueraria lobata* (Gegen). Developed by Putuo Hospital and the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, this decoction is primarily indicated for the treatment of endothelial dysfunction in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) who are at high risk for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). The formulation is specifically tailored for patients exhibiting Qi-Yin deficiency syndrome. Clinical evaluation focuses on its ability to improve flow-mediated dilation (FMD) and regulate blood glucose levels alongside conventional treatments. The granules are manufactured by Jiangyin Tianjiang Pharmaceutical.
