Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Huangqi Jing is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) preparation, typically formulated as an oral liquid or granules, primarily derived from the extract of Huangqi (Astragalus membranaceus, also known as Milkvetch Root). It is widely used in TCM to tonify qi, nourish blood, consolidate the exterior, and stop excessive perspiration. Clinically, it is indicated for symptoms of qi deficiency and blood insufficiency, such as spontaneous sweating, general fatigue, lack of energy, and physical weakness following prolonged illness. It is also used supportively to manage chronic hypotension and boost immune function.
