Overview
Huangqi Shengji Powder is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) topical formulation developed by The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University of Chinese Medicine for the treatment of chronic refractory diabetic ulcers. The primary active component is *Astragalus membranaceus* (Huangqi), which is traditionally used to tonify Qi and promote tissue regeneration. The powder is applied topically to wound surfaces to stimulate granulation tissue formation, improve local microcirculation, and accelerate the healing process of long-standing ulcers that are resistant to conventional treatments. It works by modulating inflammatory cytokines and promoting the expression of growth factors such as VEGF and TGF-beta.
