Overview
Huangshi Xiangsheng Spray is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed for the treatment of inflammatory throat conditions. It is a liquid spray version of the established Huangshi Xiangsheng formula, which traditionally contains botanical extracts such as *Cicadae Periostracum*, *Menthae Hapalycis Herba*, and *Scutellariae Radix*. The drug is primarily indicated for acute pharyngitis and acute tonsillitis, with a specific focus on pediatric populations. It aims to alleviate symptoms such as throat pain, mucosal congestion, and hoarseness by clearing heat, resolving toxins, and soothing the pharyngeal mucosa. The product is currently undergoing Phase II clinical evaluation to assess its efficacy in shortening the course of disease and its safety profile in children.
