Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Huaren Peritoneal Dialysate is a sterile, non-PVC bagged peritoneal dialysis solution formulated for use in continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) and continuous cyclic peritoneal dialysis. It is indicated for patients with acute or chronic renal failure who require peritoneal dialysis due to ineffective non-dialysis treatments. The solution contains glucose as the osmotic agent and lactate as the buffering agent, along with electrolytes including sodium chloride, calcium chloride, and magnesium chloride. Its composition closely matches that of other standard lactate-buffered peritoneal dialysates such as Baxter’s Dianeal but differs primarily in packaging material. It is suitable for a wide range of patients including infants, children, adults with poor vascular access or bleeding tendencies, those preferring home treatment, and cases of acute poisoning where hemodialysis is contraindicated or unavailable[1][2][5].
