Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Huayu Jiedu Formula (FTFY-919), also known as Yiqi Huayu Jiedu Mixture, is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. It is specifically formulated with three major herbal components: Red Ginseng (*Radix Ginseng Rubra*, 30 g), Notoginseng (*Radix Notoginseng*, 30 g), and Raw Rhubarb (*Radix et Rhizoma Rhei*, 5 g). The formula is designed to target the core TCM syndrome of 'Qi deficiency, blood stasis, and toxin-induced injury to the brain collaterals' in patients with acute hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). It is being evaluated in clinical trials as both traditional decoctions and modern formula granules to assess its efficacy in reducing hematoma and perihematomal edema volumes, improving neurological function, and reducing mortality and disability in non-surgical supratentorial hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage patients.
