Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HuB14-VA-PL2202 is a novel antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by ADC Therapeutics. It targets the alanine, serine, cysteine transporter 2 (ASCT2), which is over-expressed in both solid and hematological cancers. The drug combines a monoclonal antibody specific for ASCT2 with a cytotoxic payload that inhibits DNA topoisomerase I (TOP1). Preclinical studies have demonstrated potent and specific anti-tumor activity in ASCT2-positive cancer cell lines, with efficacy observed both in vitro and in vivo. The compound has shown good tolerability in cynomolgus monkeys during preclinical testing[1][3][5][6][8].
