Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**huCART19-IL18-eDHFR** is an investigational autologous, humanized anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy developed by the University of Pennsylvania for relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma. The engineered T cells recognize CD19-positive malignant B cells and co-express interleukin-18 to augment inflammatory and antitumor immune activity. They also express enhanced dihydrofolate reductase as a PET reporter, enabling investigational [18F]fluoropropyl-trimethoprim PET/CT imaging of CAR-T-cell trafficking, biodistribution, pharmacokinetics, and persistence. The exact eDHFR-expressing product is being evaluated in a Phase 1 study in relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma. ([clinicaltrials.gov](https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT07343934))
