Overview

**huCD33-BsAb** is a humanized bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Y-mAbs Therapeutics (a subsidiary of SERB) originating from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. It targets **CD33** on myeloid leukemia cells and **CD3** on T cells, redirecting T-cell cytotoxicity to induce **antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity (ADCC)** while inhibiting CD33 and stimulating T lymphocytes. Primarily investigated for **acute myeloid leukemia (AML)** in adults, adolescents, and children (second-line or greater) and broader **hematological malignancies**, development reached **Phase I** but was **suspended** by late 2024 due to business priorities, with a terminated trial (NCT05077423).[1][7]
