Overview

HUCV002-01 is an investigational cell therapy consisting of human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hUC-MSCs). Developed by the Affiliated Hospital of Yan'an University, this therapeutic candidate is being evaluated for its potential to modulate the immune response and promote tissue repair in patients with severe acute pancreatitis. Mesenchymal stem cells are known for their immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, and regenerative properties, which are hypothesized to mitigate the systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) and multiple organ dysfunction often associated with severe pancreatitis. The treatment is typically administered via intravenous infusion.
