HUEXC030

HUEXC030 is a sugar alcohol-based excipient formulation developed by Orient Pharma Co., Ltd., specifically designed to mitigate anti-tuberculosis drug-induced liver injury (ATDH). It is administered as an add-on to isoniazid (INH) tablets within a standard multi-drug regimen for pulmonary tuberculosis, which typically includes rifampin, pyrazinamide, and ethambutol. The formulation is intended to reduce hepatotoxicity, particularly in patients with high-risk genotypes, without interfering with the antimicrobial efficacy of the tuberculosis treatment. HUEXC030 is currently being evaluated in Phase 2/3 clinical trials to demonstrate its protective effect against hepatic injury compared to standard anti-TB therapy alone.
