HUEXC030 is an investigational excipient formulation developed by Orient Pharma Co., Ltd., specifically designed to prevent drug-induced liver injury (DILI) in patients undergoing treatment for pulmonary tuberculosis. It is primarily evaluated as an add-on to isoniazid (INH), a first-line anti-tuberculosis medication known for its potential hepatotoxicity. HUEXC030 is a sugar alcohol-based compound that is integrated into isoniazid tablets to mitigate liver damage, particularly in patients with high-risk genotypes for anti-TB drug-induced hepatic injury.
