Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hugan Granules (Hugan Keli) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed and manufactured by Taiji Group Chongqing Fuling Pharmaceutical Factory. It is an approved medication in China indicated for the treatment of various liver disorders, including chronic hepatitis and early-stage cirrhosis. The formula is composed of six primary ingredients: *Schisandra chinensis* (Wuweizi), *Bupleurum chinense* (Chaihu), *Artemisia capillaris* (Yinchen), *Isatis tinctoria* (Banlangen), pig bile powder (Zhu Danfen), and mung bean (Lvdou). These components work synergistically to provide hepatoprotective effects, promote bile secretion, and reduce serum transaminase levels (ALT/AST). Hugan Granules is widely utilized for its ability to soothe the liver, strengthen the spleen, and support the regeneration of liver tissue in patients with inflammatory or toxic liver damage.
