Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Huganning Jiaonang is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) oral capsule developed and manufactured by Beijing Yushengtang Pharmaceutical. It is an approved pharmaceutical product in China indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic hepatitis, particularly those presenting with damp-heat symptoms in the liver and gallbladder. The formulation is composed of several herbal extracts, including *Artemisiae Scopariae Herba*, *Polygoni Cuspidati Rhizoma et Radix*, and *Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*, which work synergistically to clear heat, detoxify the liver, and promote bile flow. Clinically, it is used to reduce elevated liver enzymes (transaminases) and alleviate symptoms such as jaundice, hypochondriac pain, and fatigue.
