It is a complex multi-herb mixture containing ingredients such as *Hirudo* (leech), *Tabanus* (horsefly), *Rheum palmatum* (rhubarb), and *Prunus persica* (peach kernel). In the context of oncology, it is traditionally used to 'activate blood and remove stasis,' which translates in modern pharmacological terms to anti-angiogenic, pro-apoptotic, and immunomodulatory activities. It is frequently administered following radical surgery or alongside chemotherapy to improve long-term survival outcomes, reduce the risk of recurrence, and mitigate treatment-related side effects.
