Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Huiyang Zhitong Gao is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) topical plaster formulated to warm the meridians, dispel cold, and alleviate pain. It is primarily indicated for conditions characterized by cold-dampness obstruction, such as chronic joint pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and bone hyperplasia. The formulation typically incorporates a variety of warming and blood-circulating botanical extracts, including *Aconitum carmichaelii* (Chuanwu), *Aconitum kusnezoffii* (Caowu), *Cinnamomum cassia* (Rougui), and *Boswellia carterii* (Ruxiang). These ingredients work synergistically to improve local blood circulation, reduce inflammation, and provide symptomatic relief for musculoskeletal disorders. It is manufactured by several pharmaceutical companies in China, most notably Harbin First Pharmaceutical.
