Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Human autologous MSC 3P** is a Bioinova patient-specific, bone-marrow-derived multipotent mesenchymal stromal cell product expanded ex vivo for three passages before administration as a cell suspension. It has been evaluated as an intrathecal regenerative-cell therapy for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, with the therapeutic rationale based on the trophic, immunomodulatory, and tissue-supportive paracrine activities generally attributed to mesenchymal stromal cells rather than a defined single molecular target. The registered ALS study was a completed Phase 1/2 study; related Bioinova studies of the same intervention in degenerative spine disease and rotator cuff repair were terminated.
