**Human fibrinogen albumin microspheres** is an investigational intravenous platelet-substitute biologic developed by Kuaiyi Biopharmaceutical Technology for refractory thrombocytopenia. The product comprises human serum albumin microspheres bearing human fibrinogen on their surface. Surface fibrinogen is intended to bind platelet integrin alpha-IIb/beta-3, enabling the microspheres to bridge residual native platelets and promote platelet adhesion and aggregate formation to support hemostasis in patients with severe thrombocytopenia. The product, also called Fiplatezin, has been evaluated in a Phase III Chinese study following Phase IIb development.
