Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) are a type of multipotent cell therapy being developed by Landmark Medical Centre for anti-aging and regenerative applications. The treatment involves the intravenous administration of 100 million hMSCs, which are hypothesized to exert therapeutic effects through the secretion of various paracrine factors, including cytokines and growth factors. These factors facilitate tissue repair, reduce systemic inflammation, and modulate the immune system, potentially reversing or slowing the biological markers of aging. Landmark Medical Centre is currently evaluating the safety and efficacy of this infusion in Phase 1 clinical trials involving healthy or stable subjects.
