Human NF-1 Therapeutic Vaccine is an investigational off-the-shelf cancer vaccine being developed by Calviri for the treatment of brain cancers, specifically gliomas, associated with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF-1). The vaccine is built upon Calviri's proprietary Recombinant Expressed Differential Neoantigen (REDN) technology platform. This platform identifies immunogenic neoantigens that are shared across different patients' tumors, allowing for a pre-made therapeutic product rather than a personalized one. By targeting these shared tumor-specific neoantigens, the vaccine is designed to stimulate the immune system to recognize and eliminate cancer cells. Calviri is currently planning clinical trials in collaboration with Children's National Hospital to evaluate the vaccine's efficacy in children with NF-1-associated brain cancer and its potential as a preventative measure in healthy children carrying the NF-1 genetic trait.
