Overview

This cell therapy consists of induced neural stem cells (iNSCs) derived from human peripheral blood, developed by Allife Medical Science and Technology Co., Ltd. It is specifically designed for the treatment of chronic cerebral hemorrhagic stroke. The therapy involves the direct intracerebral transplantation of these cells into the affected brain regions. The mechanism of action is multifaceted, involving neuroprotection of existing brain tissue, immunomodulation to reduce secondary injury, and potential cell replacement to restore lost neural circuits. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial to assess safety and preliminary efficacy.
