Human placenta-derived 3D mesenchymal stem cell injection is an allogeneic cell therapy product developed by Guojian Qingke Biological Medicine Technology (Beijing) for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke. The product consists of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) isolated from human placental tissue and expanded using a three-dimensional (3D) culture system. This 3D culture methodology is designed to better mimic the physiological niche of the cells, potentially enhancing their survival, paracrine activity, and therapeutic potency compared to traditional 2D monolayer expansion. Administered intravenously, these cells are intended to migrate to the site of brain injury, where they exert neuroprotective effects by modulating the immune response, reducing neuroinflammation, and secreting growth factors that support the survival and repair of neural tissue in the ischemic penumbra.
