Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Human umbilical cord blood plasma is a biological product derived from umbilical cord blood that contains various growth factors, cytokines, and immunomodulatory factors. It has demonstrated regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties in preclinical studies. HUCBP contains significantly lower levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines and higher levels of growth factors compared to adult blood plasma, contributing to its therapeutic potential. Key components include TIMP2 (tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases 2), which has been shown to promote cognitive function in aged mice.
