Human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs) are multipotent cells derived from umbilical cord tissue with significant self-renewal and multi-lineage differentiation properties. They possess several therapeutic advantages including immunomodulatory effects, low immunogenicity, and paracrine actions.
