Humanized CD22 CAR-T is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Shanghai YaKe Biotechnology. It is designed to target the CD22 antigen, a cell surface protein expressed on most B-cell malignancies. The CAR construct incorporates a humanized single-chain variable fragment (scFv) to minimize immunogenicity and potentially improve the persistence and efficacy of the T cells in the patient's body. This therapy is primarily being investigated for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), particularly in patients who have experienced relapse following CD19-targeted CAR-T cell therapy.
