Humanized JAA-F11 (hJAA-F11) is a humanized monoclonal antibody (IgG1) targeting the tumor-associated Thomsen-Friedenreich glycoantigen (TF-Ag-alpha). Developed by For-Robin (a spinout from the University at Buffalo), hJAA-F11 is designed to treat TF-Ag-expressing carcinomas, particularly breast cancer (including triple-negative breast cancer) and lung cancer. It works by directly binding to TF-Ag-alpha on cancer cells, blocking tumor cell adhesion and metastasis, and mediating antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). Additionally, hJAA-F11 is being developed as an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) payload delivery vehicle (e.g., conjugated to maytansine as hJAA-F11-DM1) and as a radiolabeled diagnostic imaging agent (124I-hJAA-F11) for detecting metastasis.
