Huoluotongnao is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) candidate developed by Guangzhou Boji Medical & Biotechnological Co., Ltd. for the treatment of ischemic stroke (cerebral infarction) and mild cognitive impairment (MCI). As a multi-component herbal formulation, it is designed to promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, and dredge meridians. Its therapeutic effects are attributed to neuroprotective properties, reduction of neuroinflammation, and improvement of microcirculation in the brain. It has undergone clinical evaluation in China to assess its efficacy in improving neurological function and cognitive scores in patients recovering from acute or subacute cerebral infarction.
