Huotan Jiedu Tongluo aims to resolve phlegm, detoxify, and improve collateral circulation. Clinical studies focus on its efficacy in modulating lipid profiles—specifically reducing triglycerides (TG) and increasing high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C)—and suppressing inflammation as measured by high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP).
