Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Huoxia Cold Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Shijiazhuang Yiling Pharmaceutical for the treatment of the common cold. It is specifically indicated for patients presenting with the TCM pattern of 'wind attack on the exterior with dampness obstructing the middle' (风感外袭,湿阻中焦). The drug is designed to alleviate symptoms such as fever, headache, nasal congestion, and gastrointestinal discomfort by dispelling external wind pathogens and resolving internal dampness. As of 2025, Huoxia Cold Granules is being evaluated in Phase III clinical trials in China to establish its efficacy and safety profile in adults with the common cold.
