Huoxuetongluofang is a traditional Chinese medicine herbal formula developed as an external washing for the treatment of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy. Developed by Guanganmen Hospital, the formula is designed to promote blood circulation, remove obstructions from the collateral channels, and alleviate symptoms such as numbness, tingling, and pain in the extremities of cancer patients undergoing neurotoxic chemotherapy. It has been evaluated in a Phase 3 clinical trial in China, comparing its efficacy and safety against Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction and placebo washings.
