Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hupo Baolong Wan is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) product developed and manufactured by Liaoning Jindan Pharmaceutical. It is an approved pharmaceutical in China, primarily indicated for pediatric use to treat conditions such as fright epilepsy (convulsions), high fever, and restlessness caused by phlegm-heat. The formulation is a combination of several herbal and mineral ingredients, including Amber (Hupo), which is traditionally used for its sedative and spirit-calming properties. The medicine is typically administered orally in the form of pills (boluses) to alleviate symptoms of acute distress and neurological excitability in children. As a TCM product, its therapeutic effects are attributed to the synergistic action of its components in clearing heat, transforming phlegm, and calming the spirit.
