Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Huqizhengxiao (HQZX) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula developed by Beijing Youan Hospital, Capital Medical University, for the management of hepatitis B virus (HBV)-related liver diseases, including chronic hepatitis B, liver cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The formula is designed to be used in an integrated Chinese and Western medicine framework, often alongside standard antiviral therapies or oncological treatments. Its therapeutic rationale is based on the TCM principles of strengthening the body's resistance (Fuzheng) and eliminating pathogenic factors (Quxie), aiming to modulate the immune response, reduce hepatic inflammation, and inhibit the progression of liver fibrosis and malignancy.
