Overview

HWH340 is a potent PARP (poly ADP-ribose polymerase) inhibitor being developed for the treatment of solid tumors, particularly those with BRCA deficiencies. Preclinical studies have demonstrated promising antitumor activity in tumor models, along with favorable pharmaceutical properties. The drug works by inhibiting PARP enzymes, which are involved in DNA repair, leading to synthetic lethality in cancer cells with deficiencies in homologous recombination repair pathways, such as those with BRCA1/2 mutations.
