HWK-007

HWK-007 is an **antibody-drug conjugate (ADC)** targeting **protein-tyrosine kinase 7 (PTK7)**, designed for the treatment of cancers that highly express PTK7, such as non-small cell lung cancer and ovarian cancer. Unlike earlier PTK7-targeting ADCs, HWK-007 employs a **topoisomerase I inhibitor payload** (not auristatin) and utilizes a **highly stable but cleavable linker** to potentially improve the therapeutic index and reduce toxicity. HWK-007 is being developed by Whitehawk Therapeutics, who in-licensed the candidate from WuXi Biologics. It remains in preclinical/IND-enabling studies as of mid-2025, with a Phase 1 trial planned for lung and platinum-resistant ovarian cancers.
