Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HX-NC4-397 is a novel peptide-based PET tracer targeting Nectin-4, developed by Hexin Pharmaceutical in collaboration with the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University. Nectin-4 is a transmembrane adhesion molecule overexpressed in several solid tumors, including urothelial and breast cancers, while showing limited expression in normal adult tissues. Radiolabeled with gallium-68 to form ⁶⁸Ga-HX-NC4-397, the tracer is designed for noninvasive positron emission tomography (PET) imaging to visualize Nectin-4 expression. This supports patient stratification and treatment monitoring for Nectin-4-targeted therapies. In preclinical models and first-in-human clinical studies, ⁶⁸Ga-HX-NC4-397 demonstrated high radiochemical purity, specific tumor binding, and favorable tumor-to-background contrast, successfully identifying Nectin-4-expressing lesions in patients with breast cancer and urothelial carcinoma.
