HX008-T is an investigational multi-specific therapeutic candidate developed by Hanx Biopharmaceuticals (HanxBio). It is designed to simultaneously target four key pathways involved in tumor immune evasion and growth: the immune checkpoints Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD-1) and Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte Associated Protein 4 (CTLA-4), the pro-angiogenic factor Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF), and the costimulatory receptor Cluster of Differentiation 28 (CD28). By combining checkpoint blockade with the inhibition of angiogenesis and the enhancement of T-cell activation signals, HX008-T aims to overcome resistance to conventional immunotherapy and improve anti-tumor efficacy. It is a derivative or advanced iteration of HanxBio's lead PD-1 inhibitor, pucotenlimab (HX008).
