Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HX011-dFc is a novel, humanized monoclonal antibody targeting OX40 (CD134, TNFRSF4) with a silenced Fc region, developed by Hanx Biopharmaceuticals and Wuhan Houxian Biomedical for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. OX40 is a co-stimulatory receptor primarily expressed on activated T cells, and its interaction with OX40L promotes T-cell survival, proliferation, and cytokine production. Unlike oncology-focused OX40 agonists, HX011-dFc features a silenced Fc domain to prevent Fc-mediated effector functions, acting as an antagonist to block OX40/OX40L signaling. This blockade deprives pathogenic, overactivated T cells of crucial survival signals, leading to their depletion and alleviating excessive immune responses in autoimmune and inflammatory disorders.
