HX016-7 is a preclinical bispecific antibody designed to simultaneously target programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). This dual-target approach aims to disrupt both tumor immune evasion (by blocking PD-L1, which suppresses anti-tumor immune responses) and angiogenesis (by inhibiting VEGF, which promotes blood vessel growth in tumors). Preclinical data suggest that HX016-7 demonstrates potent anti-tumor activity in solid tumor models, with slightly stronger efficacy than other PD-L1 x VEGF bispecific antibodies such as BNT327/PM8002. The drug is being developed for the treatment of various solid tumors, including breast cancer, colon cancer, colorectal cancer, lung cancer (including non-small cell lung cancer), melanoma, and triple-negative breast cancer[6][8].
