HX026 is an investigational trispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Hanx Biopharmaceuticals (HanxBio). It is designed to simultaneously target three key pathways involved in tumor growth and immune evasion: Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (PD-L1), Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte Associated Protein 4 (CTLA-4), and Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF). By inhibiting the PD-L1 and CTLA-4 checkpoints, HX026 aims to reactivate T-cell-mediated anti-tumor immunity and overcome immunosuppression within the tumor microenvironment. Simultaneously, by neutralizing VEGF, the antibody targets tumor angiogenesis and promotes the normalization of tumor vasculature, which can enhance the infiltration of immune cells. This multi-targeted approach is intended to provide synergistic therapeutic effects compared to monotherapies or traditional combinations. HX026 is currently in the preclinical or early clinical development stage for the treatment of advanced solid tumors.
