Overview

HX129 is a preclinical antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by HanX Biopharmaceutical for the treatment of cancer. It consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting the T-cell receptor beta variable 12 (TRBV12) subunit, conjugated to a cytotoxic payload. TRBV12 is a specific component of the T-cell receptor (TCR) complex, and its expression is often restricted to specific T-cell clones. By targeting TRBV12, HX129 is designed to selectively eliminate malignant T-cells or specific T-cell subsets involved in disease progression while sparing the majority of the healthy T-cell repertoire. This precision approach aims to provide a targeted therapy for T-cell-related malignancies with a potentially improved safety profile compared to pan-T-cell therapies.
