Overview

HXN-1021 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Earendil Labs (Helixon) that targets the OX40 ligand (OX40L). By binding to OX40L, the drug inhibits the interaction between OX40L on antigen-presenting cells and the OX40 receptor on T cells. This blockade modulates T cell co-stimulation, particularly the activation and expansion of effector T cells and the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, thereby reducing skin inflammation associated with atopic dermatitis. It is currently in the preclinical candidate (PCC) stage of development.
