Overview

HXN-2002 is a biparatopic T-cell engager (TCE) being developed by Earendil Labs (Helixon) for the treatment of colorectal cancer. It is designed to target Guanylate cyclase 2C (GUCY2C), a cell surface protein frequently overexpressed in colorectal malignancies. As a biparatopic agent, HXN-2002 binds to two distinct epitopes on the GUCY2C receptor, which may enhance binding affinity and selectivity compared to traditional monoparatopic designs. The molecule simultaneously binds to the CD3 receptor on T cells, facilitating the formation of an immunological synapse and subsequent targeted killing of GUCY2C-expressing tumor cells. HXN-2002 is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
