Overview

HXN-2006 is a bispecific antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) currently in preclinical development by Earendil Labs (Helixon) for the treatment of solid tumors. The therapeutic candidate is designed to dual-target Trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (TROP2) and Programmed cell death 1 ligand 1 (PD-L1). TROP2 is a transmembrane glycoprotein highly expressed in many solid cancers, while PD-L1 is a well-characterized immune checkpoint ligand. By binding to both targets, HXN-2006 aims to achieve superior tumor specificity and enhanced internalization of its cytotoxic payload compared to monospecific ADCs. This dual-targeting approach may also help overcome resistance in tumors with heterogeneous antigen expression or those that utilize the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway to evade immune surveillance.
