Overview

HXN6005 is a humanized monoclonal antibody developed by Helixon Biotechnology using its proprietary artificial intelligence-driven protein design platform. It is designed to target the alpha subunit of the interleukin-4 receptor (IL-4Rα). By binding to IL-4Rα, HXN6005 inhibits the signaling of both interleukin-4 (IL-4) and interleukin-13 (IL-13), which are key cytokines driving Type 2 (Th2) inflammation. This pathway is a well-validated target for the treatment of various allergic and inflammatory diseases, most notably asthma and atopic dermatitis. The drug is currently undergoing Phase I clinical trials to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic profile in healthy volunteers and individuals with asthma.
