HXP12 ReadyFlow

HXP12 ReadyFlow is a topical, flowable gel-based haemostat developed for the control of surgical bleeding. It consists of a synthetic, heat-stable peptide active substance incorporated into a transparent particulate gel. The mechanism of action involves the peptide binding to fibrinogen, a key protein in the coagulation cascade, to accelerate localized clot formation at the wound site. Designed for use in less accessible wounds and uneven surfaces, it is blood-free, ready-to-use, and delivered via a pre-filled syringe. The product was developed by Haemostatix (later acquired by Ergomed) and is a derivative of the company's lead candidate, PeproStat, sharing the same mechanism of action but in a flowable gel formulation.
