Overview

HXTC 901 is an experimental systemic haemostat developed by Haemostatix. It is a peptide-based molecule designed to target fibrinogen and incorporates a thrombin-cleavable sequence. This design allows the drug to remain inactive in the general circulation and become selectively activated by thrombin at sites of active bleeding, where it then promotes clot formation. Currently in the preclinical or prototype stage, HXTC 901 is intended for the treatment of systemic bleeding via intravenous administration.
