HXYT-001 is an autologous cell therapy candidate developed by Huaxia Yingtai (Beijing) Biotechnology Co., Ltd., utilizing the proprietary Synthetic T-cell Antigen Receptor (STAR) platform. It is designed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL). The STAR-T technology involves engineering T-cells to express a synthetic receptor that mimics the natural T-cell receptor (TCR) complex by using a dual-chain structure, which aims to provide superior antigen sensitivity and signaling compared to traditional single-chain Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies. HXYT-001 specifically targets the B-lymphocyte antigen CD19, a well-validated target for B-cell malignancies. By redirecting the patient's own immune system to recognize and eliminate CD19-positive cells, HXYT-001 seeks to provide a potent and durable therapeutic option for patients who have failed standard treatments.
